Arches National Park
We are in Utah doing their big five National Parks. We visited Arches National Park today. It was a mob scene-sooooo busy. My mother was happy at least to have a paved road. We are camping in Moab, UT tonight after three nights in motels/cabins. We are all suffering from a bit of altitude sickness since The Petrified Forest National Park, three days ago. Symptoms are exhaustion, wooziness, light headache, heavy head, slight stomach upset. We don’t feel horrible just not ourselves.
With a cot and now a fan in our tent with a 100ft extension cord running into the tent I think we might officially be glamping. We are hoping the fan will allow my mother to breathe better and allow us to camp more. It’s currently 7:01 PM and 97 degrees, I’ll keep you posted. π
We hit 5k miles on my car in Albuquerque , NM and had to get an oil change and tire rotation. I thought the whole trip would be 10k miles. I may have underestimated.
My mother’s senior National Parks pass (cost $10 15+ years ago) has saved us 180+ dollars so far and we haven’t hit the other four National Parks in Utah yet.

Glamping? Should I fly out for an official consultation? You know I love a good glamp!
ReplyDeleteI almost put in the blog post, that the Raspa’s will be able to officially tell me if we are glamping. π
ReplyDeleteTell Chris we also need his geology expertise out here in Utah.
ReplyDeleteHaha, Chris said to tell you it's a rock. What a wise guy! π
